Standard horsepower for the Pilot is 280hp. Each Pilot model equips the same 24-Valve i-VTEC® 3.5L V6 engine for quite a durable performance on every highway. The 9-speed automatic transmission is also used for every Pilot model to offer a relaxed ride and even better gear-shifting.
The Pilot curb weight is 4,030-4,321lbs. The curb weight for the Honda Pilot is affected by the model and drive type that’s equipped, with many 2WD models producing a lower curb weight than the other AWD trims. The Pilot Sport 2-wheel drive produces the lightest curb weight at 4,030lbs and the Honda Pilot Black Edition all-wheel drive is the heaviest at 4,321 pounds.
The Honda Pilot has a ground clearance of 7.3-7.9 inches. Most of the Pilot models use the same clearance of 7.3in. However, the TrailSport model is the only one with 7.9in of ground clearance due to the exclusive TrailSport features that are great for drivers who chase the adventure.
